Every imagination deserves a place.
Creativity is everywhere. Opportunity should be, too. AI can help open the door to meaningful feedback, growth and recognition.
CWA and DAA share a purpose: to make creative opportunity and meaningful evaluation more accessible to students. We want a young person’s work to receive serious consideration, whatever their background or ability to pay.
We use AI-assisted evaluation and are developing a fuller feedback experience to help students understand their strengths, see where their work can grow, and choose a practical next step.
A place to take part.
Free entry is central to our mission. Check the current award page for the entry window, eligibility and submission conditions.
Standards you can understand.
Evaluation should focus on the work and explain what the criteria mean. Buying directory access must never influence a score or an award.
Something to take forward.
Our competition includes a free, private feedback report with evidence, strengths and practical suggestions for each eligible, completed review.
What we mean by AI equity.
Equal access to meaningful feedback. Clear criteria within each category. Less influence from information unrelated to the work. A way to question a result and correct mistakes.
AI can make mistakes and reflect biases. Fairness requires careful evaluation, transparent limits and review; it is not something a model can guarantee simply by being AI.
Two ways we help.
